The project's story
Pearl Hotel, a thoughtfully envisioned development located
in close proximity to the historic walls of Jerusalem’s Old
City. Positioned within one of the city’s most sensitive
and iconic contexts, the project engages directly with
its surroundings, balancing contemporary design with a
deep historical presence. At the core of Pearl Hotel lies
a vision of integrated hospitality and urban living, where
architectural clarity meets contextual sensitivity. The project
introduces a new structure in place of the existing building,
establishing a refined and modern language that responds to the character of Jerusalem. The development is composed of two primary volumes, carefully articulated to relate to the scale, topography, and urban fabric of the area. These volumes accommodate a mix of hotel and complementary uses, creating a dynamic environment that serves both visitors and the surrounding city.
A central architectural element connects the different parts of the project, enabling a continuous spatial experience while reinforcing a clear identity. The design emphasizes movement, accessibility, and visual connections to the Old City, strengthening the dialogue between past and present.Pearl Hotel offers 26,000 square meters of built area, primarily dedicated to hospitality, with a portion allocated to additional uses that enrich the overall program. This balanced composition supports a layered and engaging experience for guests and visitors alike.More than a destination, Pearl Hotel represents a careful intervention within Jerusalem’s historic landscape -enhancing its surroundings, respecting its context, and contributing to the evolving narrative of the city.
